Jewelry Care Instructions
Jewelry with natural gemstones should be stored in closed boxes with soft padding. A more compact option can also be used, such as pouches made of velvet, corduroy, organza, or leather. Stones with different levels of hardness should not be stored together.
For instance, jasper, labradorite, jadeite, agate, amethyst, and citrine should not be stored with softer stones. Lapis lazuli, obsidian, and turquoise are easily prone to scratches and wear.
Daily gemstone care:
After removing the jewelry, wipe it with a dry cloth. This will remove moisture, traces of sweat, and dust from the piece. Special care is required for turquoise, coral, and pearls: if moisture is not wiped off in time, it can leave permanent marks on the mineral.
